ServePath has its origins in the success of its co-founders, who originally started the largest profitable Internet service provider on the West Coast—InReach Internet—in 1994. ServePath was started in early 2001 to solve a key critical demand in the marketplace for custom, dedicated server solutions and managed services for businesses of all sizes looking for a powerful internet hosting platform.
What once was a true start-up business run by a team of three people has now grown into a strong, employee-owned and profitable business. ServePath operates its own state-of-the-art data center and is headquartered in San Francisco. The company boasts a strong management team and a highly skilled Support and Services team that now manages several thousand servers for over 2000 business customers in more than 100 countries worldwide. Our clients include small to medium technology companies, large enterprises, International, Federal, State and local government agencies, and web hosting resellers.

ServePath Facilities
ServePath owns and operates its own San Francisco data center which was originally built by WorldCom in 2000. The building also houses "super-nodes" for Verizon and AT&T local phone service in San Francisco, so it is considered an essential facility because 911 calls are routed there. We share generators, power, cooling, and fire suppression infrastructure with Verizon (formerly WorldCom), including dual 2 Megawatt generators that support the critical power requirements and operations of the building.
Network Operations Center
ServePath's Network Operations Center (NOC) is built right in the center of our data center floor, and is staffed 24/7/365 by certified systems administrators and network engineers. The 21 screens that make up our NOC monitor everything from network traffic and performance to power, temperature and security systems to services, applications, known vulnerabilities and RAID array status on customer servers.

ServePath is the leading provider of custom managed hosting and load-balanced server networks for clients that need a robust internet hosting platform. ServePath's cloud hosting division, GoGrid, is a pioneer in cloud computing. ServePath also provides colocation services through its ColoServe division and operates its own San Francisco data center. In addition, ServePath provides content delivery solutions through its UpStream Networks division. The company is 100% employee-owned and has been in business for over 6 years.
